In the same way that we're all human at a fundamental level despite our diversity, formal paths and traditions are more similar than different. If everything were the same, life would be pretty bland — it's that diversity which adds spice and gives each tradition a unique flavor.

Modern mystics are being called to be more integrative and holistic to answer the unique challenges of our time. Rather than reject other traditions and disciplines, we have the opportunity to learn and contribute by being creative in how we approach the wisdom that's been given to us. Integrating this knowledge can be challenging and messy, but that's part of the fun of being a modern mystic!
